INTERNATIONAL LEGALIZATION
Bircham International University online diploma and academic transcripts can be internationally validated by the Apostille or Consulate Authentication. In accordance with the resolutions reached at The Hague Convention held on October 5th, 1961, diplomas, certificates and transcripts issued by an educational institution in one country can be officially legalized in other countries if they are accompanied by a notary certification, the Apostille, which authenticates the signatures and stamps appearing on the document. Increasingly countries around the world are adopting this validation procedure for its simplicity and worldwide acceptance. BIU distance education university online diplomas & transcripts may be certified and legalized at: the Commonwealth of the Bahamas, the United States of America (State of Delaware) or the European Union (Spain). The Apostille must be issued by the same country the online university degree is issued from. This process may take two or three months. CUFCE - California University Foreign Credentials Evaluation and Research-Amorsolo Foundation is organized under the Nonprofit Public Benefit Corporation Law for public and charitable purposes. Its mission is to insure that all immigrants who are educated in their country of origin are given the best tools for faster integration into the U.S. by awarding them the U.S. educational equivalency of all their studies and give them academic credits for their specialized work experience towards the completion of a degree. CUFCE will issue a California University equivalency transcript and diploma of any earned BIU degree. To order the CUFCE equivalency certification you must download, fill out and fax the BIU graduation services order form. PROFESSIONAL ASSOCIATIONS:
BIU graduates may join various professional associations listed in the References Section. Membership requirements may vary depending on degree, major and graduate resume. BIU graduates should contact directly the professional associations they wish to join. IACET - CEUs / BIU CREDITS VALIDATION CERTIFICATES
Bircham International University is a provider of non-formal distance learning higher education, thus other educational institutions may be reluctant to accept a non CHEA accredited online university degree. Although, BIU may issue Continuing Education Units (CEUs) equivalency certificates of any online university courses credits earned at BIU. Bircham International University is an authorized provider of Continuing Education Units (CEUs) recognized by the International Association for Continuing Education & Training (IACET) from Washington DC, USA. IACET Continuing Education Units (CEUs) are widely accepted and recognized by many higher education institutions and companies worldwide. Thus, some of the institutions reluctant to accept a BIU distance learning degree will be willing to recognize the equivalent Continuing Education Units Certificates. BIU may issue one certificate per every online university course listed in the BIU Transcript.
To order the IACET CEUs equivalency certificates must download, fill out and fax the BIU graduation services order form.
