The Council for Adult and Experiential Learning (CAEL) is a USA non-profit organization which creates and manages effective learning strategies for working adults.
The Council for Adult and Experiential Learning (CAEL) links learning and work. CAEL is a nonprofit that works at all levels within the higher education, public, and private sectors to make it easier for people to get the education and training they need.
CAEL - Council for Adult and Experiential Learning pioneers learning strategies for individuals and organizations. CAEL advances lifelong learning in partnership with educational institutions, employers, labor organizations, government, and communities. CAEL works to remove policy and organizational barriers to learning opportunities, identifies and disseminates effective practices, and delivers value-added services.
Bircham International University became an institutional member of the CAEL - Council for Adult and Experiential Learning in 2001. BIU studied some of the guidelines from the Council for Adult and Experiential Learning for the correct validation and transformation of professional experience into academic credits that may be applicable to a degree program. Later, Bircham International University replaced the CAEL membership for the Authorized Provider Accreditation granted by the International Association for Continuing Education & Training.
